Right from the onset of negotiations in mid 2002 both you and your team members have been nothing but courteous and professional regarding the tasks required by our company.
Zokal Safety Services carry out numerous safety checks for us twice a year at over forty different sites in two states. Checks on items, such as self contained breathing
apparatus, fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, first aid kits, fall arrest equipment and
personal protective equipment are all done within a very short time frame for us.
Registers for over 1500 pieces of equipment are updated and sent to us electronically for
posting on our local intranet. This enables us to meet strict state legislation laws that
govern the safe storage of our product.
Not withstanding the above tasks Zokal Training Services also provide for our safety
training needs and relevant refresher training. These courses are conducted at the
highest of standards and always receive positive feedback from employees that attend.

Zokal Safety Services Pty Ltd, formally Newcastle Hydrostatics have been an exclusive contractor to B.H.P. since 1981. This company has been on site on a weekly basis without interruption for the whole duration of that time, maintaining and servicing the life support equipment in all departments of the plant.
Zokal Safety Services was responsible for the reliability and performance of all breathing apparatus and high pressure breathing air cylinders at the Newcastle B.H.P. site. Contractual duties included:
• Periodical inspection of high pressure cylinder charge.
• Inspection and hydrostatic testing of high pressure cylinders.
• Service and repair of high pressure cylinder valves.
• Cleaning, disinfection, function and tightness testing of full face masks.
• Cleaning, performance checks and leak tests on lung governed demand valves.
• Maintenance and tests on pressure reducers, whistles and pressure gauges.
• Building, repair and service of breathing air-trolley systems.
Zokal Safety Services have always performed their tasks in a professional and reliable manner to manufacturers specifications and have been prepared to come to our assistance at a moments notice if required. Zokal Safety Services have been a permanent service provider with Tomago Aluminium since 1983. Zokal have been on site every week for the past 22 years providing a reliable and quality service in maintaining our life support equipment.Our company requirements have included the following:
• Weekly inspection and monitoring of all high pressure cylinders.
• Monthly function testing on all breathing apparatus, trolley systems and air lines.
• Six monthly service and repair of all life support systems.
• 12 monthly, 3 and 6 yearly servicing of breathing apparatus including reducers.

Zokal Safety Services has been providing a personal protective equipment inspection &
maintenance service to Tamworth Regional Council and its predecessor Council’s for over five
years.
This service covers scheduled on-site inspection and documentation of the condition of confined
space and height safety equipment including items such as Harnesses, Lanyards, Inertia Blocks,
Tripods, Gas Detectors, Breathing Apparatus etc.
In my opinion Zokal has consistently provided a prompt, professional and thorough service with
good documentation and supporting advice. Zokal takes many of the hassles out of maintaining
our life support equipment and provides service and inspection documentation to the required
standards.
